The Bluewater Bay Marina hosted the 2nd Annual Swordfish Showdown from September 27 – October 25, 2014. This year 3 more divisions were added: Dolphin, Wahoo and Yellowfin Tuna. Swordfish Division winner was Brett Hinely off of his Sailboat, The Diamond, with a 79.50lb Swordfish. Dolphin Division winner was Danai Malawong off of his boat Wild Cat with a 13.25lb Dolphin. Wild Cat also brought in the winning Wahoo weighing in at 34.90lbs. No Yellowfin Tuna were weighed in during the tournament. Winners were recognized at an awards ceremony at LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant and Oyster bar with medallions and award checks.
