HURRICANE IDA UPDATE

FOR

BLUEWATER BAY MARINA COMPLEX

As of 4 pm cdt FRIDAY 27 Aug Hurricane IDA is forecasted to make landfall in Louisiana on Sunday as a Category 4 Hurricane.  This is potentially a very dangerous storm!

We are not currently inside the cone of warning, but the projected size, strength, and a slight separation of the models has heightened our concerns.  There is currently still a 10-20% chance of tropical storm winds as early as Saturday evening.

If …. anything changes, the reaction time for preparation will be very small.  We urge you to start preparing and planning for this possibility.

We will monitor the forecast throughout this event.  Storm preparations should be started now for tropical storm conditions.
