Due to unfavorable weather forecast, the Invasion has been postponed till April 12, 2014.
Come out and join us in a Water Safety / Reading Literacy Project supported and sponsored by the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club. Our goal is to get as many floating vessels as possible on the West side of Rocky Bayou Bridge and have a LARGE GROUP photo taken at 9:30am. By having Large Boats, Small Boats, canoes, kayaks, Stand-up Paddle Boards, and jon boats we strive to recognize and promote safety as we share our beautiful waters.
Events are scheduled as Follows:
Please Pre-Register
9:00 – Large Vessels anchored on West side of Rocky Bayou Bridge
9:25 – All other vessels in place
9:30 – Photo Taken of the “Invasion” from Rocky Bayou Bridge
9:45 – SUP Race – From photo spot to Rocky Creek – Back to Tater Tot Island
10:30 – Story for Children – Josh the Baby Otter will be read to the Preschool Children in attendance and given a copy of the book
10:30 – USCG Auxiliary Inspections scheduled from 10:30 – 3:00pm
10:45 – USCG Presentation
